How to request deletion of your SPYBALL CONNECT account and its data.

You can request deletion of your SPYBALL CONNECT user account and the personal data linked to it. This page explains how to submit a request and what we delete or keep.
How to request account deletion
- 1Use the same email address you used to sign in to SPYBALL CONNECT.
- 2Send an email to contact@caralarms.gr with the subject line: SPYBALL CONNECT account deletion request.
- 3In the message, include:
- Your registered email address
- Optional: the tracker ID(s) you added in the app (helps us verify your devices)
- Confirmation that you want your account and associated app data deleted
- 4We will verify that you own the account (reply from the registered email may be required) and process your request within 30 days.
- 5When deletion is complete, we will email you a confirmation (if your address is still reachable).
Data that is deleted
When your request is approved and processed, we delete account-linked data including:

| Account credentials | Your Supabase authentication account (email and password login for SPYBALL CONNECT). |
| Profile | Display name and profile settings stored in profiles. |
| Linked devices | Tracker IDs and vehicle labels you saved in the app (devices). |
| Push notification tokens | FCM device tokens used only to send you alarm notifications (push_tokens). |
Data that may be kept
| Data | Reason |

| GPS / tracker telemetry | Location records in our fleet database (tracker_positions) are stored by tracker hardware ID, not by user account. They may remain after your account is deleted because they are generated by the physical GPS device. If you also want historical positions for your tracker(s) removed, say so in your email and list the tracker ID(s). |
| Backups | Encrypted database backups may retain deleted data for up to 90 days before automatic purge. |
| Legal / fraud prevention | We may retain minimal records if required by law or to resolve disputes; any such retention is limited to what is legally necessary. |
Retention period
- Deletion requests: processed within 30 days of verified identity.
- Backup copies: removed within 90 days after deletion from live systems.
- Optional tracker history deletion: if requested, target completion within 30 days (same as account deletion).
Alternative: remove devices only
To stop using SPYBALL CONNECT without deleting your account, open the app, remove your linked vehicles/devices from the account menu, and sign out. To fully delete the account and profile, use the email steps above.
