This Privacy Policy describes how BigProject ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the SPYBALL CONNECT mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use your information
- Authenticate you and manage your account
- Display live and historical vehicle positions on maps
- Link tracker hardware to your user account
- Send push notifications when a vehicle alarm condition is detected
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability of the service
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)
- Contract: to provide the tracking service you signed up for
- Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, service improvement
- Consent: where required (e.g. push notifications on your device)
- Legal obligation: when law requires retention or disclosure
5. Third-party services
We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf:
- Supabase — authentication, database (profiles, devices, GPS records, push tokens)
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of push notifications
- Google Maps — map display (subject to Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy)
These providers may process data in the EU, US, or other regions. We use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the service.
6. Data sharing
We may share information only:
- With service providers listed above, under confidentiality obligations
- When required by law, court order, or government request
- To protect rights, safety, or security of users or the public
- With your explicit consent
7. Data retention
- Account and profile data: kept while your account is active; deleted after a verified deletion request (within 30 days).
- Linked devices and push tokens: deleted with your account or when you remove them in the App.
- GPS / tracker telemetry: stored by tracker hardware ID and retained for operational purposes; may remain after account deletion unless you request removal of specific tracker history.
- Backups: may retain deleted data up to 90 days before automatic purge.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent (e.g. disable notifications in device settings)
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

9. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
SPYBALL CONNECT is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
If you use the App from outside the country where our servers are hosted, your information may be transferred internationally. We take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection where required by law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version at the same URL and update the effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
